Here you will find information about my work as a psychotherapist, including the areas of psychotherapy in which I specialize.

I work with people who have suffered any kind of trauma at any point in their life. This can include abuse, difficult relationships, medical trauma, automobile accidents, and even embarassing moments.

I also work with those who have experienced childhood neglect. That includes affection, information, and/or support that was needed at different developmental stages, but was not provided.

The other work that I do is to help those who experience pain that they feel in the body that is not derived from a medical or physical cause, but is psychological in origin.

As a Consultant in EMDR, I provide consultation to psychotherapists who are practicing EMDR.

To learn more about the practice of EMDR check out the EMDR Institute which oversees the training of EMDR therapists. I am a facilitator at EMDR training sessions. Another link you may find interesting is EMDRIA, the EMDR International Association that represents thousands of EMDR practitioners. I served on the EMDRIA Board of Directors from 2005-2007 and I am the immediate past President of the EMDRIA Board.
